Prediction: I
am surprised to see Michigan favored in this one. I know the Wolverines got a
win over MSU in East Lansing, but the Spartans were without Adreian Payne and
Michigan was as hot as it has been all season. Times have changed since that
first meeting. Michigan State has Payne back and he is going to be an absolute
handful for the Wolverines. Michigan has been inconsistent, going just 2-3 in
its last five. The Spartans haven’t exactly been flawless, but I suspect the
loss to Nebraska at home has got them refocused. MSU has been better on the road
this season as well. For Michigan to win this game, it will have to shoot as
well as the Spartans did at Purdue. It could happen, but I don’t think it is
likely. I see Michigan State coming out with the win in Crisler. Michigan State 78, Michigan 69
