Prediction: Michigan State is struggling, no question about it. The Spartans have not looked good for a few weeks now and tonight is a chance for them to start picking up the pieces. A win over Iowa would be a good victory for MSU at this time and perhaps give the Spartans a little momentum heading toward the postseason. Iowa gave MSU everything it could handle in the first meeting, but the Spartans still won and did so without Adreian Payne. I keep waiting for Michigan State to turn it on, but they seem to keep falling deeper into the hole instead. If MSU can’t turn things around and put together a good performance tonight, the outlook for the postseason will be awful bleak. My picks have been off lately, so this may be a bad sign for Michigan State, but I am going to go with the Spartans to win a tough game with a motivated effort. Michigan State 74, Iowa 69
