Prediction: Michigan State comes in to today’s game with a lot of momentum and great expectations. It will be interesting to see how the Spartans respond with the spotlight clearly on them once again. Delaware is an offensive team, averaging 79.5 points per game. The Blue Hens will look to play an up-tempo game, which should play right into Michigan State’s hands as long as the Spartans put in the effort on defense. Delaware gives up 75.1 points per game on defense which means MSU will get plenty of transition opportunities. The Spartans should be able to put a stamp on this game early. The longer Delaware is left in the game, the more dangerous it will become. Michigan State 78, Delaware 64
