Prediction: Penn State comes in with some momentum, but Michigan State is getting a big shot in the arm tonight with Adreian Payne expected to return to the lineup. The Spartans have held up well without him, but he certainly makes the Spartans a stronger team on the floor. I don’t expect Payne to go crazy tonight, but his return should give some extra energy to the rest of the lineup. I expect MSU to do something similar to what Michigan did to Nebraska last night. Coming off a bad loss to Georgetown, there is no doubt MSU wants to get back on the floor. The crowd will be energized to see Payne and it should create a great home environment for MSU. Penn State has improved a lot since last year, but the Nittany Lions are running into the wrong team tonight. Michigan State 76, Penn State 56
